Your cat stays home while we find their next one
Needing to rehome a cat does not make you a bad owner. Landlords change their rules, allergies appear, babies arrive, money runs out, people get sick. It happens to people who love their cats very much.
Your options are usually a shelter, or a Facebook post and hoping for the best. We are a third one: your cat stays in their own home, on their own furniture, while we do the work of finding and vetting the right person.
- 01
You tell us about them
The form below. Roughly ten minutes, and the more specific you are about their personality, the faster they get adopted.
- 02
We verify their records
Vaccination record and proof of spay or neuter. Nothing goes live until we have both — it is what makes adopters trust a cat we have not met ourselves.
- 03
We list and screen
Once the records check out, your cat goes on the site marked as a courtesy listing, free of charge. Every applicant fills out the same screening we use for our own cats, and we handle all of it.
- 04
You meet the finalist
We arrange the meeting and you are there for it. You have the final say — if it does not feel right, we keep looking.
Listing your cat
Free
You pay us nothing, now or later. The person who adopts your cat pays the rescue an adoption fee, which supports our work.
What it covers
- Your listing, written from your photos and description
- Screening every applicant
- Reference and landlord checks
- Arranging and attending the meeting
- The adoption contract
If you need us to actually take the cat
Sometimes leaving the cat at home is not possible. We do take cats in, but space is genuinely limited — every cat we accept lives in one house — so intake runs on a waitlist rather than first come, first served. Mention it in the form below and we will tell you honestly where things stand.
Tell us about your cat
Asking is free and so is listing, and you can withdraw at any time before your cat is placed.
